If you were to ask, “Which has a greater impact on climate change, airplanes or food loss and waste? Many people would probably answer “airplanes”. Food loss and waste account for 8-10% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions, about the same as cars (according to WRI). Today, March 23, is World Meteorological Day.
