Stockpiling food for disasters. The Consumer Affairs Agency is starting a model project to provide food to children’s cafeterias, food banks, and social welfare councils if the safety of the food is confirmed 60 to 90 days after the expiration date. There will be a briefing session in Tokushima City today on the 14th (I hope people in Tokushima will come and listen to it). The purpose of this project is both to reduce #foodlossandwaste and to support those in need.
